The 33th European College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ECNP) Congress brings together a vibrant group of psychiatrists, neuroscientists, neurologists and psychologists from around the world to discuss the latest developments in the science and treatment of brain disorders.
With around 6000 participants, the ECNP congress is Europe’s premier showcase for new research, treatments and technologies in applied brain science. Spanning the spectrum of human mood, behaviour, cognition and emotion, the congress covers most brain-related aspects from basic science to clinical care.
The ECNP 2020 will take place in Vienna, the Austrian capital, one of the most amazing cities in whole Europe. During centuries Vienna was the most important city in central Europe, and one of the whole worlds competing with Paris and London.
Nowadays the impressive cultural legacy of the city is already visible and perfectly conserved, with a large number of Palaces, Operas, Theaters and garden, some of them designated as UNESCO World Heritage. Also the city was the home of the most famous baroque compositors, like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Liszt or Ludwig van Beethoven.
The venue for the congress is the Austria Center Vienna that is surrounded by contemporary architecture, and just 7 minutes from the city center and a few minutes’ walk from the Danube and the Donaupark. The modern Austria Center Vienna is the country’s largest conference center has a total capacity for 20,000 delegates and offers 24 lecture rooms for between 100 and 4,320 participants, 180 meeting rooms and 22,000 m² of exhibition space.
