The European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2024 will take place in Barchelona, Spain, from 13.-17. October 2024. The ESMO Congress brings together clinicians, researchers, patient advocates, journalists, and the pharmaceutical industry from all over the world to learn about the latest advances in oncology and translate science into better cancer patient care. As this congress is the most influential annual meeting for oncology professionals in Europe, the participants will get an impression of latest translational research, presentation of practice-changing data and multidisciplinary discussions.
Few European cities can offer this wide diversity of cultural experience that one can find in Barcelona. With the luxury of 4.2 km of beach a short walk from the city center and warm sunshine most of the year, one has all the makings of a wonderful stay. But Barcelona is also the capital city of Catalunya, a region of Northern Spain that has its own traditions, cuisine and language that’s distinct from the rest of mainland Spain. The Catalan people are proud of their rich heritage and have successfully maintained it. This blending of cultures makes the city of Barcelona a truly fascinating place to visit.
