The ESMO Breast Cancer 2026 is a congress especially designed for breast cancer researchers and clinicians who have a specific interest in innovation (including translational research, new agents, molecular and functional diagnostics, biomarkers and cutting-edge research applications in the clinical setting) and care. The congress will be a multidisciplinary meeting with a global scope, involving top scientists. Cancer patients and their needs are at the heart of what ESMO does – they are committed to advancing research and integrating it into the clinic to ensure better care for the patients. ESMO aims to deliver a comprehensive overview of all the practice-changing new data and wants to make sure it has a clear roadmap to the clinic.

The Congress takes place in Berlin, Germany’s largest city and one of its 16 states. After World War II, the victorious countries occupied the city and divided it. East Berlin became the capital of East Germany, while West Berlin turned into a West German exclave, surrounded by the Berlin Wall (1961–1989) and East German territory. After reunification in 1990, Berlin once again became the capital of Germany. Since then, the city has grown into a popular tourist destination, full of creativity and vibrant energy.
During your stay, you should visit the Brandenburg Gate at Pariser Platz and the Reichstag at Republic Square. From the Brandenburg Gate, you can look west to the Victory Column and east along the famous boulevard “Unter den Linden.” Berlin also offers incredible culinary variety. Restaurants line the streets, many with unique styles. You can try food from almost every country in the world here. Berlin truly is multicultural.
