Overview of the event
The EASD 2027 is one of the largest diabetes conferences worldwide. Numerous talks, presentations and discussions on the latest results from basic and clinical diabetes research are part of the scientific program. The EASD was founded in 1965 and has become one of the largest networks for diabetologists worldwide with more than 5,000 active members from over 100 countries throughout the world. The Association’s aim is to encourage and support research in the field of diabetes, the rapid diffusion of acquired knowledge and to facilitate its application. The 63rd Annual Meeting takes place in Budapest, Hungary.

The 63rd EASD Meeting will take place in Budapest, Hungary.
Budapest, Hungary’s capital, is divided in two by the Danube River. The 19th-century Chain Bridge connects the hilly Buda district with the flat Pest. A cable car runs up Castle Hill to Buda’s Old Town, where the Budapest History Museum traces the history of life in the city from Roman times onwards. The Trinity Square is where the Matthias Church of the 13th-century and the spiers of the Fisherman’s Bastion are located, which offers breathtaking views.
