EAS
- This event has passed.
The EAS Congress addresses the latest developments in basic, translational and clinical research on the causes of atherosclerosis and related vascular diseases and how these may impact clinical guidelines for diagnosis and treatment. This year it will be held from 21- 24 May in Mannheim, Germany.
One of the most important features of the congress is the high-level interdisciplinary exchange between clinicians and basic researchers.
The EAS 2023 scientific program, which already has commitments from many of the world’s leading experts, will provide an overview of the latest research in the field – including the award-winning Anichkov Lecture, outstanding keynote lectures, innovative plenary sessions, and targeted workshops and advanced clinical seminars.
EAS is also committed to supporting young scientists in their careers through Young Investigator Fellowships.

Mannheim is a city in southwest Germany, situated on the Rhine and Neckar rivers. The baroque palace from the 18th century houses historical exhibits as well as the University of Mannheim. On the market square in the inner city, which is laid out in a strictly grid pattern, the so-called Mannheim squares, there is a baroque fountain monument with statues. The Planken pedestrian zone leads to the Romanesque water tower in the Friedrichsplatz gardens, decorated with Art Nouveau elements. Modern, baroque, urban and green – in Mannheim, history meets modernity, tradition meets innovation, the tried and tested meets the newly conceived. There is something worth seeing around every corner – historical monuments, special places, green oases.
The current uncertainties for now prevent us from securing large hotel allotments, but we are – as always – closely connected with our hotel partners and can make suitable offers to you at any time. Of course, we also support you as usual with all other services for a successful congress participation. Please send your request to congress@mr-congress.com
