The annual ECNP Congress is Europe’s largest meeting in applied and translational neuroscience bringing together psychiatrists, neuroscientists, neurologists and psychologists from all over the world to discuss the latest developments in the science and treatment of brain disorders. With approx. 5,000 participants, the ECNP Congress is Europe’s major showcase for new research, treatments and technologies in applied brain science. It spans the spectrum of human mood, behavior, cognition and emotion, from basic science to clinical care. The 38th ECNP Congress is held at the RAI Amsterdam Venue in Amsterdam, Netherlands and presentations are given in-person by high level scientist and almost all presentations are live streamed to an online Congress platform.
The 2025 congress will take place in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. From its earliest days, the city thrived as a major center of commerce. As a result, Amsterdam has always welcomed other cultures with open arms. The city consists of many characteristic neighborhoods. Each offers unique shops, cozy cafés, and diverse restaurants. Moreover, everything lies within walking or cycling distance, making exploration easy and enjoyable. Amsterdam is vibrant and full of experiences. Visitors can eat fresh herring from a cart, explore the Museum Quarter, or taste a cold beer at a windmill. They can also admire the Old Masters at the Rijksmuseum or visit the Anne Frank House. In addition, no stay feels complete without joining one of the famous canal cruises.
