EURETINA
EURETINA started life as the European Retina, Macula and Vitreous Society in June 2000. Since then, the society has grown to over 3,500 members and the annual Congress attracts thousands of delegates. Their goal is to enable access to the same cutting-edge retina science worldwide. They believe, together avoidable blindness can be prevented. The 25th congress of the European Society of Retina Specialists; (EURETINA) will take place from 04 – 07 September 2025, in Paris, France.

Paris, host city of the congress, is France’s capital and the famous “City of Light” and “City of Love.” The city radiates romance, and countless lovers and bridal couples come here to celebrate their union. The Musée d’Orsay, housed in a former Beaux-Arts railway station, now showcases the world’s largest collection of Impressionist masterpieces. Visitors admire works by Cézanne, Monet, Manet, Van Gogh, Degas, Gauguin, and many others. No visit to Paris feels complete without seeing its most iconic landmark, the Eiffel Tower. Gustave Eiffel built it for the 1889 World Exhibition. Although scheduled for demolition in 1909, the tower still stands today as the city’s most recognized symbol.
While the Eiffel Tower defines the skyline, the Louvre represents the ultimate cultural prize. As the world’s largest art museum, it spans 675,000 square feet and presents works from nearly every civilization. The legendary Mona Lisa remains its star attraction. Paris continues to reinvent its cultural landscape. Frank Gehry’s Fondation Louis Vuitton, rising like a ship of glass and steel, is the most striking addition since the Centre Pompidou opened in 1977. The foundation also hosts acclaimed temporary exhibitions, including Olafur Eliasson’s dazzling light installations.
We proudly partner with a wide network of hotels and create tailored group arrangements for 20 people or more. Our team also manages all ground services to ensure a smooth stay. Please send your inquiries to congress@mr-congress.com.
