The European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology™, in short ESHRE, is organizing their 35th Annual Meeting on 23-26 June 2017 in Vienna, Austria. After its first meeting here back in 2002, ESHRE will now be in Vienna for a second time and again its responsible bodies have put together a series of outstanding scientific sessions.
The world’s most important experts in Human Reproduction and Embryology will discuss the main topics of gene editing, tissue engineering and stem cell therapy.
The Programme Committee will prepare a series of keynote lectures, symposium, educational workshops and meet-the-expert sessions on parallel tracks.
This year’s host city of the ESHRE, Vienna, is the capital city of Austria and one of the most charming cities in Central Europe. Nearly one third of the Austrian population lives in the commuter belt of Austria, what makes it the cultural, economic and political centre of the country. In 2001, the city was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Vienna is famous for being a decisive factor in the development of the European music and the country of birth of the legandary classical musician Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. When in Vienna, do not miss tasting its delicious cuisine, including Wiener Schnitzel (a cutlet of veal), Sachertorte ( a moist chocolate cake with apricot jam) or hot apple strudel.
Between 2005 and 2010, Vienna was the world’s number-one destination for international congresses and conventions. It attracts over 3.7 million tourists a year.
The venue for the congress is the Messe Wien Exhibition Congress Center, centrally located, very close to Vienna`s famous Prater park and just around the corner from the campus of the new Vienna University of Economics and Business and the modern, green “Viertel Zwei” business and residential area.
