Thousands of participants follow the call of the EASD every year to attend the EASD Annual Meeting. It is one of the largest diabetes conferences worldwide. The EASD was founded in 1965 and has become one of the largest networks for diabetologists worldwide with more than 5,000 active members from over 100 countries throughout the world. The Association’s aim is to encourage and support research in the field of diabetes, the rapid diffusion of acquired knowledge and to facilitate its application. The 62nd Annual Meeting takes place in Milano, Italy.
