The 38th European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) congress will be held from 25 – 29 October 2025 in Munich, Germany.
The annual congress ESICM attracts more than 5,000 intensivists, anesthesiologists, trainees, nurses and medical support staff from every continent and more than 100 countries. This exceptional diversity makes LIVES a place to absorb the latest insights and improve patient care through multidisciplinary discussions and lectures, interactive courses, demonstrations of the latest technologies, and simulation exercises.
Attendees to ESICM 2025will have the opportunity to participate in carefully planned events to further their knowledge, learn about the latest research advances, and network with their peers.

Every year, the famous Oktoberfest draws over six million people from around the globe. It is held annually from mid or late September to the first weekend in October. This world’s largest folk festival invites visitors to experience Bavarian hospitality, traditional music, delicious food, and the finest beers. Furthermore, Munich’s breweries proudly produce the local specialty Weissbier (wheat beer), a must-try for every guest.
