The Himmelbeet, for example, is a 1,700 m² community garden and helps to bring people together. There are jointly managed areas, lease beds for individuals and organizations, as well as event programs and workshops about gardening and the environment provided.
Anyone who takes part in urban gardening not only supports the environment but also stimulates social connections, because gardening together enables one to view fellow gardeners from a completely new angle.
