Mocktails

…the ideal refreshment on busy days

Mocktails – a joking neologism derived from the English “to mock”: to imitate – are non-alcoholic drinks made from juices, syrup, spices, and unusual ingredients. The artful combination of ingredients ensures that they are just as attractive as cocktails, but most importantly far healthier. A creative enrichment at the start or during a meeting or conference! A few suggestions below – cheers!

Apple and carrot welcome mocktail

This drink is an incredible source of vitamins and the light sweetness of the carrots and the subtle acidity of the apples are an extremely perfect combination. The whole beverage is particularly tasty when both are freshly and finely pureed! Add a little lime juice and a drop of oil to help the body better absorb the A vitamins. Decorated with the green of the carrot and well chilled, the drink can be served in a long drink glass!

Cucumber mocktail during lunch break

Cucumbers support the brain, make you fit and are good for the skin. Buttermilk strengthens the immune system, strengthens the bones, and calms the stomach. This drink is almost an “all-rounder”! Puree the diced cucumber slices and washed dill together with buttermilk and yoghurt until creamy. Afterwards season the mixture with salt and pepper. Then decorate with a little fresh dill and serve well chilled in a juice glass.

Fennel mocktail after work

Lamb’s lettuce strengthens the nerves, is good for the skin and eyes and keeps you young and beautiful! Horseradish supports the immune system and has various healing effects thanks to the mustard oils. The ideal mixture to regenerate at the end of the working day. Cleaned and chopped lamb’s lettuce and fennel are placed in a juicer with grated horseradish and a little lime juice. Pour the juice into a slim glass, stir in a dash of lime juice and a few ice cubes, and garnish with a few crumbs of horseradish.

By the way … constantly new, imaginative non-alcoholic drinks are being served more and more often in the hip bars of the capital. Bartenders who know their craft mix the most extraordinary creations.
