The ESMO World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer is this year’s premier gathering of international oncology professionals dedicated to improve the lives of patients affected by diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. It is the leading global platform for discussing the latest data and emerging research in this rapidly evolving scientific field. As the premier global gathering in the field, the Congress brings together leading experts in gastroenterology, oncology, pathology and hepatology, clinicians and surgeons, and clinical researchers worldwide to share breakthrough research, approaches and best treatment practices for patients with gastrointestinal-tract cancers. The program offers all stakeholders the opportunity to learn, debate, discuss and network in this very active scientific field, where recent advances have led to improvements in patient outcomes.
Barcelona, the cosmopolitan capital of Spain’s Catalonia region, is known for its artwork and architecture. The imposing Sagrada Família church and other modernist landmarks by artist Antoni Gaudí can be found throughout the city.
