“Anna Jouret”
I’m Anna, since the beginning of 2020 with MR and therefore still quite new in the team. Before that, I worked in a travel agency in Sri Lanka for French and German customers and later for a large French railway company in Cologne. This enabled me to gain almost 5 years of professional experience in the industry after studying tourism in France.
My new home now is Berlin. I felt comfortable here from the start. I was born in the Normandy, but grew up in Chambéry, in the Savoie region. Chambéry is located directly on the Alps, i.e. everywhere there are mountains, lakes and loads of ski resorts. Just like my colleagues, I always love to be at home and enjoy being in nature.
About the love for foreign cultures
My favourite hobby is traveling. Before I came to Berlin, I went on a world tour for almost a whole year. That was the most exciting experience I’ve had so far!
I started in Dubai, then went through all of Asia, where I finally stayed in Japan for a few weeks. This was followed by a two-month stay in Australia and finally another two months in the US. I am a big lover of foreign cultures and that is why I really enjoy learning about foreign countries and their people.
In the world of events, 2020 has unfortunately become noticeably quiet. As a result, I have not yet had the opportunity at MR to work on local projects on site. I am currently working on a larger project for 1,500 participants who want to come to Berlin for three days. Precisely because you do not always get specific requirements, the challenge often is to recognize the customer’s wishes and to find exactly the right proposal. It is exactly this challenge that gives me the incentive for my work, and it is always fun to adapt individually to customer requirements!
